sleepy

My lids long to be down yet am keeping it up
for now as my eyes dry staring at this screen
My toes are throbbing from the loaded walks
up and down la cienega now in bed awake
but half a sleep I see nothing as my mind is blank

I can only listen with out processing the input
A one directional relationship that will last till the second I decide
to close these eyes ones more.
