Arm in arm 
we walked the slippery slopes of 
Sundance
I stopped for a friend
who was to busy
maybe later
was all 'twas said
your eyes
calmed my
confusion
offered your arm to 
walk on to warmer
places 
and perhaps some food
struggling on one good leg

taking pictures

there 'twas
tricked to go
now
mouth filled with 
surprisingly tasty snow
